Your tests set and marked for
you for the next five years by a computer - what will you do with the time you save?

The Computer Based Assessment tests in this project were designed and used at the University
of Wolverhampton to replace written tests. Each tests generates an exam
randomly from a possible 80,000 variations and then delivers the exam, marks it and gives feedback. See the 'About'
page for details of the potential positive impact on learning outcomes.
The project delivers around 2,000 assessments per year in various forms: fully automated tests (described on this site), automatically generated randomised web tests with automatically generated marking schemes, web self-assessments with JavaScript, and automated feedback marking schemes with word macros.
The tests are now available free for lecturers and teachers to use and can run over a network or from a floppy disk.
